Problems in Distance learning

Problems in Distance learning

During this pandemic period a lot of

students face some problems to follow

remote lessons. These are internet

and wifi connection problems or

distractions problems, because at

home there are a lot of them:

the first of these is the telephone.

They spend a lot of their time on it: students don’t follow the lessons

to watch it or chat with their friends.

Other distractions are the consoles,

for example play, or books, for books’ lovers.

Pets are another big distraction, because they want cuddles or

walk on keyboards, for example my cat does it and I spent time to

take it off from my computer.

Moreover staying at home makes access to food very easy:

students spend a lot of time eating and lose concentration.

Some of my friends gave me their opinions:

F.S.”I find it difficult to follow distance lessons because we as

students are at home with a lot of distractions ( food, drink, phone

…). Moreover we often have the temptation to copy when we have

to do a test.

I think we also risk to lose the respect we owe to our professors: we

often turn of the videos when they ask us to leave it on; we do so

because we think we are clever but we lose the direct contact with

them.”

D.C.” we lose our concentration because a lot of times our

connections are very bad.”

F.S.’s father, a school teacher,:” The best think of my job is the

human aspect, the relations among the professors and students.

In video lessons this aspect gets lost.”
